  1. Information on the processing of personal data of the members of the association and contractual partners of SPOLK PRO VĚDU A VÝZKUM z. s. IČO: 09998446, registered office Štěrková 261, 252 26 Kosoř (hereinafter referred to as "the association").

    • The purpose of the association is to provide personnel, material and other support to interesting ideas and projects, which will enable their rapid and functional growth. Among other things, the aim of the association is to prepare high-quality projects for investors, to provide a platform for connecting project authors and investors and to participate in projects. The main activities of the association are defined in the statutes. The above activities include the processing of personal data of members and contractual partners (scientists, investors, etc.).
  3. Controller or processor?
      • The Association is the controller of personal data.
      • Questions about the processing of your personal data will be provided or made available to you at any time at the contact email address below [email protected] or by post at the address of the association's registered office.
  4. What do we have to do to process your data?
    • The Association as a personal data controller is obliged to comply with the obligations arising from legal regulations when processing personal data. The Society regularly checks the compliance of its procedures with the applicable legal regulations and takes a responsible approach to fulfilling these obligations, with an emphasis on maintaining the privacy of natural persons and the protection of their data.    
  5. What data do we process about you and for what purposes?
    • The association, as the administrator of personal data, maintains an electronic or written database in which it records the personal and contact data of members and contractual partners of the association. In the case of some subjects, this also includes information about their education, professional career and other information that the contractual partner or member provides in their CV and other documents that they voluntarily provide to the association in order to fulfil its objectives. This may also include account and credit card numbers for the purpose of payment of membership fees and possible financing of the association's activities, etc.
    • The Society also processes and uses photographs, videos and sound recordings for marketing purposes (especially in promotional materials, leaflets), web presentations, presentations on social networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), presentations in the annual report and other information materials.
    • With the data provided, we can better meet the goals of the association and connect those with ideas with those who are ready to provide funding. We also need personal data for the purpose of marketing the association, securing funding for the association's activities, improving its services, organising events, workshops, seminars etc., applying for grants and subsidies etc. For this purpose, communications, offers, invitations, etc. are also sent to members and contractual partners at the e-mail addresses provided by them in connection with the fulfilment of the objectives of the association. The member and contractual partner have the right to refuse the sending of communications at any time, simply and at no cost, by sending a message of disagreement to the following e-mail address [email protected]
  6. How do we get the data into our database?
    • We receive new data for our database directly from our members and contractual partners. We enter the following data into our database:
      1. obtained from concluded contracts (where the association is a party to the contract),
      2. obtained from the applications of members
      3. obtained from CVs voluntarily provided to us by the contractual partner or member
      4. obtained directly from potential contractual partners or members, where appropriate, with their consent
  7. With whom do we share your data or to whom do we pass it on?
    • The database may also be shared with another personal data controller, but always in the context of fulfilling the purpose of the association. For example, with state and local government authorities in connection with applications for subsidies and grants, with private entities providing funding for the activities of the association or otherwise supporting the fulfilment of the association's objectives, it may also be shared for the purpose of promoting the association, etc.
    • We may also share processed personal data with processors who provide certain activities for us, such as accounting, tax, IT and other services, etc.
  8. Why do we process your personal data and how long do we keep it?
    • We keep the data of contractual partners and members in the database for the entire duration of the contractual relationship or membership in order to fulfil the purpose and objectives of the association and the contract with the contractual partner, even if it is verbally concluded, and the contractual rights and obligations arising from it. For the purposes of archiving contracts and the exercise of any claims that may arise from the contract or membership after their termination, we retain the data for the period necessary to exercise such claims after the termination of the contractual relationship or membership. We may process the necessary personal data without the data subject's consent for the purposes of fulfilling the contract.
    • We process the data that we obtain with your consent or that are stored in the system for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives of the association, for information about news, including the possibility of creating profiled offers for specific members or contractual partners, for the promotion of the association, for the purpose of ensuring the financing of its operation and its objectives, for the purpose of conducting a survey, etc., with the understanding that we will keep these for the duration of the contract / membership / consent. The data is then deleted from the electronic database.
  9. What are the rights of natural persons in the processing of their personal data?
    • You have the right to contact the association at any time to request information and access to your personal data and its processing. You have the right to the portability of personal data, the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to profiling and automated decision-making, the right to erasure of personal data, the right to notification of personal data breaches where a particular personal data breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. You may also contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, which acts as a supervisory authority in the Czech Republic (www.uoou.cz), if you have a complaint.
  10. Consequences of not providing personal data
    • In the event that personal data is processed within the framework of any contractual relationship, personal data is processed only for the purpose of providing performance under that contractual relationship. Failure to provide them shall prevent the provision of performance by the Association.
  11. Transfer of personal data outside the European Union
    • Personal data is not transferred to third parties based outside the European Union.
